The beach itself costs nothing, and the one published charge is the bridge: $1 a vehicle on the Bob Sikes Toll Bridge heading out to the island, collected electronically, with no cash or coins taken at the plaza. Without a SunPass or E-Pass transponder you are billed by plate at the same $1 a crossing plus a $2.50 administrative fee once a billing cycle. Nobody publishes a parking rate for the beach itself: the Island Authority's site has no parking price on it and neither does the county's beach page, while private lots behind the boardwalk set their own. Read the sign on whichever lot you pull into.
⚠ The bridge takes no cash. Without a transponder you are billed by plate, and that adds $2.50 the first time in a month.
