Corrections, listings and questions

This guide is built and checked by one family on the Gulf Coast. If something on it is wrong, we would rather hear it from you than leave it wrong, and a correction usually takes a few minutes to make.

The fastest routeTell us about an event

If you are putting on something the coast should know about, the submission form is the fastest route. It asks for the date, the time, the price and a link, because those are the four things a listing cannot ship without.

Submit an event

First-party factsTell us about a business or a promotion

Businesses can send us their own hours, prices and offers. A business is the originator of its own information, so what it tells us about itself counts as a first-party source, and the card says so rather than pretending it came off a web page.

For local business

Keep us honestCorrect something

Every listing carries the date it was last checked and a link to the page it was read from. If a price has changed or a venue has closed, send us the listing and what you saw. Corrections are made before the next build, which runs four times a day.

Not open yetEmail and social

A general inbox opens once the domain is settled. Until then the two routes above reach us reliably, and neither of them asks you to create an account.

Social accounts are not open yet either. When they are, they will be listed here and in the app, and they will point at the same guide rather than at a second version of it.

The standing rulesWhat we will never do

  • A listing is never paid for. We do not take payment for inclusion, and the checked stamp is not for sale at any price.
  • A review is never for sale. A business can pay to be promoted, and when it does the card says Sponsored, in that word, every time.
  • An address never leaves. We do not pass an email address to anybody. The app makes no network requests at all, and this website makes none beyond the page you asked for.

Show supportHelp keep it checked

One family reads every venue’s own page before a listing ships, and no reader is ever charged for any of it. If this guide has earned a place in your weekend, the Support page lists the ways to help, and most of them cost nothing.
