The Hangout is a beachfront restaurant, bar and stage right on the Gulf Shores sand. It's known for hourly foam parties during its family program and free live music most days. There's no cover to eat, drink or listen, though some ticketed concerts run separately and cost more. Live music was confirmed running August 21 through 23, 2026, including free shows on the beach stage. Hours run roughly 10:30 AM to 10 PM Sunday through Thursday and to 11 PM on Friday and Saturday.

- Walk in any time during posted hours there is no cover charge for the restaurant.
- Ask about the current foam party schedule if you have young kids.
- Check the music calendar before you go some shows are free and some are ticketed.
