A near-perfectly round spring-fed lake has a free 1.25-mile ADA loop around it that is flat, stroller-easy, and pretty. It is about 1 hour and 10 minutes inland and pairs with the historic downtown circle.

The park is free. Two walking paths circle the lake and both return to where they started, a 1.25-mile ADA sidewalk on the lakeside of Circle Drive and a 1-mile sidewalk on the bank. Swimming runs March 1 through September 30, 8 AM to sunset, and only in the designated area behind the DeFuniak Springs Library.
Limited shade on the loop, so hats and water.
