The museum covers Gulf Shores history from its fishing village beginnings through today's beach town, with rotating local exhibits. Admission is free for all visitors. It keeps a split schedule Tuesday through Friday: open in the morning, closed for an hour at midday, then open again in the afternoon. Saturday morning hours are shorter.
