The Fort Walton Beach library moved to a new hours schedule on August 3, 2026, now open Tuesday through Friday from 10 AM to 5 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM, closed Sunday and Monday. It also hosts city events like a recent Coffee with the City Manager session, putting it in regular use as a civic meeting spot as well as a library. Admission is free.
