This big county park has several playgrounds and open fields year-round, plus a seasonal splash pad in summer. Multiple play areas mean you can pick a quieter corner away from the crowd, which is handy on a busier day.

The county park is free. The splash pad runs May 1 through September 30 and is closed Mondays for maintenance. Count on 10 AM to 6 PM: the county's own page says 9 AM in one place and 10 AM in another, and 10 is the hour that is open either way.
