Mobile is building a new commercial passenger terminal at Brookley that moves the region's main airline service closer to downtown and I-10. It's planned to open with five gates, expandable to twelve, with American, Delta and United expected to move their Mobile operations there. This is infrastructure rather than an attraction, but it's a major public place a traveling family will pass through.
