The city of Mobile cut the ribbon on the John E. King Senior Center on Lorma Road on August 27, 2026. The center gives area seniors a new home for classes, meals and social programs, so a family can bring an aging parent by to sign up. No class schedule has been published yet, so a call to the center is the way to find out what is running this month.
