Baldwin County is extending the Eastern Shore Trail east from Fish River along US Highway 98 toward Pleasant View Lane. The new paved segment adds about 1.84 miles for walking, running and casual cycling, pushing the trail farther toward Magnolia Springs. The county still describes this as construction, so do not plan a visit until a completion notice appears.
