Halloween Night Hike at the Edward Ball Nature Trail

UWF Outdoor Adventures turns the half mile Edward Ball Nature Trail into a haunted night walk, lit by glow sticks, with staff in costume lurking along the path. Walkers get glow sticks and candy, and a costume contest runs from 7:00 PM to 7:15 PM with prize buckets for the top three. Community members are welcome at $10 per group of up to 5 people, and the last entry is at 9:40 PM.

Before you go

  • Register online through the UWF recreation program page, since the event takes no cash or Apple Pay.
  • Park in Lot G or Lot F and follow the glowing yard signs to the trail behind Crosby Hall, Building 10.
  • Bring a valid photo ID and a screenshot of your registration.
  • Arrive with your whole group, because late arrivals register and pay separately.
