This annual Parrot Head charity morning at LuLu's raises money for breast cancer patients along the Gulf Shores coast. This year the traditional 5K has been replaced by a PHun Walk of just under a mile that starts and ends at LuLu's, with a patient and survivor walk, a pink Parrot-Ice toast and a party with lunch afterward. Costumes are welcome, with team fundraising and costume awards.
Before you go
- Register on RunSignup by October 9 to lock in the $35 adult price and a guaranteed shirt.
- Arrive at LuLu's between 7:45 AM and 8:30 AM for check-in and the silent auction.
- Walk at 8:45 AM, then stay for the toast, party and lunch at LuLu's.

The organizer's RunSignup page prints $35 for ages 13 and up and $30 for ages 12 and under through October 9, then $40 and $35 from October 10 to 23, with day-of registration at those race-week prices. The page's PHun Walk line shows $38.10 including a $3.10 fee, so processing fees and sales tax come on top. The total covers two adults and two children before fees.
The 5K route is no longer available because of added airport traffic, so the event is now a walk of just under a mile the final route is still pending approvals.
