The Reindeer Dash is a 5K run, 5K walk and 1 Mile Fun Run on a course described as fast and flat through the Beachview area of Fort Walton Beach. Participants get a long-sleeve performance shirt and a finisher medal that converts to a Christmas ornament, guaranteed to the first 500 registrants. An afterparty at AJ's on the Bayou has food, drinks and live music, and the race benefits the Fort Walton Beach Fire Department Toy Drive.
