The 19th annual post-Thanksgiving race at the Orange Beach Sportsplex offers a half marathon, a 5K and a 1 mile fun run on the paved Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail system near Gulf State Park. The half marathon starts at 8:00 AM, the 5K at 8:10 AM and the fun run at 8:20 AM, with a post-race party and awards from 9 AM to 11 AM.
Before you go
- Register online for the half marathon, the 5K or the 1 mile fun run, and lock in the price before it rises on November 13 or November 25.
- Pick up your packet Friday from 3 PM to 5 PM at the Sportsplex, walk-up only, or Saturday from 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM.
- Stay for the post-race party and awards from 9 AM to 11 AM.

Published prices: $54 for the 5K, $105.94 for the half marathon and $22.20 for the 1 mile fun run, each including fees. The half marathon and 5K prices rise after November 13 at 11:59 PM and the 1 mile after November 25. The total covers two 5K runners.
The half marathon is for ages 15 and up and the 5K is for ages 7 and up.
