Ocean Hour holds one hour volunteer cleanups on Saturday mornings at 8:45 AM at parks, trailheads and beaches around Pensacola and Pensacola Beach. The fall schedule runs from October 17 through November 28, with two or three sites each week. Volunteers only need closed toe shoes, water and sunscreen, and Ocean Hour supplies all equipment.
Before you go
- Pick a site from the schedule on oceanhourfl.com for the Saturday you want.
- Arrive at the site by 8:45 AM in closed toe shoes with water and sunscreen.
- Join the cleanup and use the supplies Ocean Hour hands out.
- Check Ocean Hour's Facebook page the night before, since rain or thunderstorms cancel cleanups.
