Chefs, pitmasters and restaurateurs compete for the Golden Noodle Award at this macaroni and cheese cookoff in downtown Mobile's Mardi Gras Park. Ticket holders sample more than 20 entries and cast people's choice votes, with live music, cake walks and vendors alongside. The event benefits The Cookery Project's Tackling Out of School Hunger Initiative.
Before you go
- Buy a $14 ticket for anyone ages 6 and up children under 6 are free.
- Arrive between noon and 4 PM and work through the 20 plus entries before you vote.
