HizashiCon is an anime and Japanese pop-culture convention put on by the Japan-America Society of Northwest Florida as part of Foo Foo Festival, from October 30 to November 1 in Pensacola. The program includes cosplay contests, panels with voice actors, video game tournaments, artist alley, a vendor hall, live music and an Idol Fest. A Giant Robot documentary screening and a Cat-puccinos and Cosplay brunch at Coastal Cat Cafe are also scheduled.

Not confirmed: A military rate. We searched and the venue publishes none. That is not the same as there being none, so it is worth asking.

Trivia and the brunch are at Coastal Cat Cafe, not at the Wright Place.

The organizers say October 30 to November 1 some outside calendars show October 31 to November 2.

Day passes are $28.86 Saturday and $23.61 Sunday students and society members pay $34.11, $23.61 and $18.36.
