The Monte L. Moorer/Spring Hill Branch Library runs a chess club open to beginners and experienced players alike. The library says the program suits ages 6 and up, including teens, and it emphasizes concentration and problem solving over competition. Saturday sessions at 2 PM repeat weekly through October, including October 3 and October 10, so a missed week is not a missed chance.
