A free beach concert plays every Tuesday at the Gulfside Pavilion, 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Coming up are 9/15 Count the Years, 9/22 Knee Deep Band and 9/29 Float Like a Buffalo, then The Astronauts on 10/6. The season runs to 10/27. Bring chairs or a blanket; no pets and no glass.

Visit Pensacola's own signature-events page calls it a free concert series. Bring lawn chairs or a blanket; pets and glass are prohibited. Driving out to the island costs $1 a vehicle at the Bob Sikes Toll Bridge, collected electronically, and the plaza takes no cash.
