Alaqua Animal Refuge turns its Freeport grounds into a bluegrass festival for the day. Sister Sadie headlines the barn stage, and a separate Fall Fest area has food trucks, a bar, crafts, games and visits with rescued animals. Ticket sales fund the refuge, and the drive from Gulf Breeze is a long one.
