May Day Park is Daphne's official site for the 39th Annual Alabama Coastal Cleanup on Saturday morning from 8 AM to 12 PM. The cleanup is coordinated with the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and Alabama PALS. Volunteers work along College Avenue at Mobile Bay, pulling litter from the shoreline.

Before you go

  • Arrive at May Day Park by 8 AM when the cleanup starts.
  • Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty along the shoreline.
  • Bring water and sun protection. The cleanup runs outdoors until 12 PM.
  • Check in with the Alabama PALS coordinators on site before you start picking up litter.
