Talk Like a Pirate Day: beach cleanup and vendor market

Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center

FreeFamilyKidsServiceBeachverified 9/11

Two things on one Saturday. The morning is the International Coastal Cleanup on the east side of the pier parking lot, which is the part that needs hands. From ten the conservation center runs a vendor market with pirate crafts and giveaways, and the Florida Public Archaeology Network is there as a guest.

Before you go

  • Cleanup at 8 on the east side of the pier parking lot, not at the center
  • Gloves, a hat and water: the morning is on open sand
  • The giveaways are while supplies last, so the market is a ten o'clock job

What we checked, and when

Read off the venue's own page on 2026-09-11.

The center's notice puts no price on the cleanup or the market, both of which are outside. Going inside the center is its own ticket, and the center publishes those: $10 an adult, $9 military or 65 and over, $7 for ages 4 to 12, free under 4.

The cleanup starts at 8 and the center's own doors do not open until 10, so the morning is entirely outside.

This is not the center's monthly Trash Bash, which their site says is the last Saturday of the month.

Where this came from

  2. navarrebeachseaturtles.org: “General Admission : $10 … Military & Seniors (65+) Admission: $9 … Kids Admission (4yrs - 12yrs) : $7 … Children 3 & Under Free”
