A 5K that raises money for a recovery programme, and a harvest festival waiting at the finish with a petting zoo, pumpkin carving, face painting and inflatables. The run is a walk if you want it to be. Entry goes up after September 30, so the cheap week is this one.
Before you go
- Register before 09/30: the entry price goes up at midnight
- The race window is 8 to 11 AM, so the festival is the back half of the morning
- Call Project Hope on (877) 491-3816 to ask whether the festival is open without a race number
What we checked, and when
Read off the venue's own page on 2026-09-11.
The organiser's own registration page lists $35 to run and says the price rises after September 30 at 11:59 PM. It publishes no admission for the harvest festival and does not say the festival is free, so do not assume you can wander in without running until you have asked.
The organiser publishes the RACE window, 8 to 11 AM, and no hours for the festival at all. A flyer in circulation says the festival runs 10 AM to 3 PM that time is not on the organiser's page.
The same flyer lists a silent auction, a pumpkin patch, music and food vendors. The organiser's own page names a petting zoo, pumpkin carving, face painting and inflatables, and none of the other four. The organiser's list is the one to go by.
