Maker Days is a hands-on STEAM drop-off workshop at the Emerald Coast Science Center, held the first Monday and Tuesday of every month. October's lesson, Blueprints of the Wild, covers animal engineering and biomimicry. It costs $35 for members and $40 for nonmembers, with $10 off each additional sibling, and a spot isn't confirmed until you pay.

Before you go

  • Register in advance at ecscience.org a spot is confirmed once you pay.
  • Pay $35 as a member or $40 as a nonmember, with $10 off each additional sibling.
  • Drop off at Emerald Coast Science Center, 31 Memorial Pkwy SW in Fort Walton Beach, by 9:00 AM.
  • Pick up by 12:00 PM after the animal-engineering lesson.
  • The same lesson repeats on the first Monday and Tuesday of each month.
