The City of Gulf Shores turns Town Green and the public beach into a Halloween evening. It has a costume parade, a beach fun run, and a chip-timed 5K. The Wicked Walk starts at 6:00 PM, the Monster Mash Dash follows at 6:30 PM, and the Haunted Hustle 5K goes off at 7:00 PM. Games, candy, a DJ, face painting, balloon artists and refreshments run throughout. Registration fees rise closer to the event, from $15 to $40 depending on the race and sign-up date. Beer and wine are sold onsite for adults.
Before you go
- Register online in advance for the lowest price, since fees rise closer to October 17.
- Arrive at Gulf Place Town Green and Public Beach, 101 Gulf Shores Parkway, Gulf Shores.
- Pick up your race packet on event day between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
- Line up for the Wicked Walk at 6:00 PM, the Monster Mash Dash at 6:30 PM, or the Haunted Hustle 5K at 7:00 PM.
- Wear a costume if you want to join the parade around Town Green.

The City of Gulf Shores publishes separate registration fees for the 5K, Wicked Walk, and Monster Dash, with higher late/event-day prices. The total is quoted for a party of five, and it rescales to your own party.
