Downtown Fort Walton Beach turns into a costume parade for one Saturday evening, run by the Downtown board with Sharing and Caring. Trick-or-treaters start at The Landing with a canned food donation, then collect candy from businesses around downtown before the whole group walks together behind the library at 6:30 PM. The night ends with a Thriller dance back at The Landing at 7 PM. There is no ticket, but organizers ask each costumed kid to bring at least two canned or nonperishable food items.
