Boo Bash at Destin Commons

Destin Commons turns into a two-day Halloween weekend. Saturday runs a pumpkin patch, face painting and crafts from noon to 4 PM, then a DJ dance party and trick-or-treating through the shops from 5 to 8 PM. Sunday is a scavenger hunt through participating stores from noon to 4 PM, and a digital costume contest runs online the whole weekend. Everything on the schedule is free. You only pay for what you eat or buy.

Before you go

• Park at Destin Commons, 4100 Legendary Dr, and head to the open-air courtyard
• Saturday: pumpkin patch and crafts run noon to 4 PM, trick-or-treating and the DJ dance party start at 5 PM
