The Destin Community Center runs an evening cooking class for middle schoolers ages 10 to 14, where the group cooks basic meals, eats together and socializes. Supplies are provided, and the center asks cooks to wear closed-toe shoes and tie long hair back. The fee covers the full series of Monday sessions.

The City of Destin calendar lists the fee as $40 for Destin residents and $50 for non-residents. The total uses the non-resident rate for one child.
