Depot Days at the West Florida Railroad Museum

West Florida Railroad Museum

FreeFamilyKidsverified 9/11

The museum opens its whole depot for the day: kids' train rides, the model layouts running, a scavenger hunt through the cars, a craft table, food trucks and vendors in the yard. The museum is free every week it opens, and this is the Saturday it fills up.

Before you go

  • Call (850) 623-3645 the week before: the museum's site was unreachable on the last check
  • Cash for the food trucks and the vendor tables
  • Get there near 10 for the train rides before the queue

What we checked, and when

Read off the venue's own page on 2026-09-11.

The museum's notice says admission is free, which matches the museum's own standing policy: “Admission is FREE. Tickets are not required.” Food trucks, vendors and any ride tickets are their own money, and none of that is published.

The date, the hours and the free admission come off the museum's own notice. wfrm.org sits behind a bot challenge that blocked the last two checks, so confirm by phone before you drive out.

Where this came from

  1. West Florida Railroad Museum's own notice for Depot Days, Sat Oct 3, 10 AM-3 PM, free admission
  2. wfrm.org: “Admission is FREE. Tickets are not required.”
